Jacqueline Johnson North - CEO
Jacqueline co-founded IAOCR in 2011 with a focus on addressing workforce challenges that effect productivity, timelines and quality of clinical trials.
She has extensive experience in fast-moving, innovative companies and start-ups and has also worked for large corporations such as PWC, Wyeth, and Dun & Bradstreet.
Prior to IAOCR, Jacqueline worked in leadership and consultancy roles across a variety of sectors including technology, sponsorship, and mining. She has more than fifteen years’ experience working in business-focused positions within the biopharmaceuticals industry and her international experience spans countries as diverse as Argentina, DRC, India, Europe and the USA.
Most recently Jacqueline has completed executive education programs “Gateway to Global Growth” at Cass Business School in London and a scholarship program (supported by the Ellis Goodman Foundation) at Kellogg School of Management, Chicago. She is passionate about bringing experts and influencers together to drive positive change locally and globally, for the clinical research sector and across a number of other fields.
Jacqueline is mother to two lively twins and enjoys yoga, cycling and travelling. She is passionate about the environment and the creation of sustainable communities
Angela O'Connell - COO
Angela commenced her career with Barclays Bank PLC, where she was fast tracked and developed to Senior Management and operated at Board Level. Her knowledge and expertise has been underpinned through education and development at Ashridge Management College and London Business School.
Angela has a broad breadth of business and organizational development experience spanning over 25 years. She has extensive international experience across a diverse range of sectors including: financial services, property, facilities management, leisure, chemical engineering, retail and education. She is adept at working both strategically and operationally to ensure real transformation and corporate effectiveness by considering the inter-relationships between business strategy, organizational design and development, IT, leadership development and effective working environments. Formal accreditations of Investors in People and IS09000 have been natural outcomes of the work she has undertaken.
In addition to leading within a corporate environment Angela has experience of start-ups and running a number of smaller enterprises.
Prior to having a career break to raise a family, she was a founding partner of the Michelangelo Partnership in 1996, (Business Consultants and Architects) who worked with both businesses and educational organizations to design and use working environments more flexibly and as a strategic enabler in delivering corporate & organizational vision and objectives.
As part of the IAOCR Executive she led the initial development of an apprenticeship scheme for the clinical research industry, the development of an international leadership program with Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and the establishment of the clinical research sites & services accreditation business GCSA.
Angela enjoys a full and active life with her sons and husband. She enjoys tennis, skiing and sailing, is Governor of Primary and Secondary schools and helps stage many local events in her local community.
Sarah Everitt - Head of Client Services
Sarah has worked for over 30 years within the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry and has extensive experience in clinical research.
She has managed Global projects and teams working at both operational and strategic level implementing process improvements and initiatives. In her most recent role as a VP, she had responsibility for strategic business planning and driving transformational change.
Sarah is passionate about collaborative working within an organisation through effective coaching and mentoring of employees. She maximises the potential of individuals, teams and the organisation through positive engagement and empowerment ensuring consistency, quality and adoption of best practice.
She is experienced in leading clinical research talent acquisition teams, focusing on recruitment process optimisation in parallel with developing competency frameworks. She has developed talent strategy plans to ensure specific skill match of competent, quality resource and provision of positive candidate experience.
Sarah places a high emphasis on employee retention through positive recognition and development, ensuring company values are aligned to business performance and achievement.
She recognises the importance of strong customer relationship management, understanding needs and delivering innovative solutions to exceed customer expectations
Outside of work Sarah can be found cycling across the North Yorkshire Moors or walking the beautiful coast line where she lives
